    • USP Motorsports B5 S4 single turbo VR6 swap tops 170 miles per hour in the 1/4 - 8.70@171

This B5 S4 just keeps getting quicker and faster. Back in 2012 it ran 9's at over 160 miles per hour. USP Motorsports then shaved this to 8.973 @ 162 miles per hour three years ago. Well, now they are topping 170 miles per hour.

They managed an 8.70 @ 171 miles per hour. Incredible.

The thing is, where is the slip? They put together a well edited video and omitted the most important part of the whole run, the timeslip. Nobody is doubting the result but seriously, who thought not including the slip or any sort of proof was a good idea?

A beast of a B5 regardless and VR6 swaps are a great way to go for Audi/VW performance.

Yeah no timeslip is dumb. Also, sad that they had to swap the motor to a VR6. That 2.7L TT V6 is garbageeee.

Awesome to see Chris is still at it. I remember him setting up USP towards the tail end of my 1.8t days. Great run.

I don't know if garbage is fair as there are some fast 2.7T's but the VR6 is just a far more stout platform. People are routinely hitting quadruple digits with it. Very strong.
