    • Fastest C7 Audi RS6/RS7 - APR tuned RS7 on race gas traps 136.0 on the factory 4.0 TFSI V8 turbos

136 miles per hour of the factory Audi 4.0 TFSI V8 turbochargers? Yep, that is where we are at now. It is unbelievable that APR is getting this much out of the OEM turbos. Especially when the modifications list is relatively simple.

The car has APR's downpipes, APR's Stage 2 race gas tune, and an intake. That's it. Yes, really.

Now when are we going to see some turbo upgrades or RS7's move beyond pushing the factory turbos? There are two RS7's tied for the elapsed time record which are also on the factory turbochargers.

The 4.0 TFSI V8 has yet to make that jump to the next level with bigger turbochargers. The best is yet to come.

Such an impressive platform! Wonder what some hybrid turbos would do on that thing!

I don't understand why we don't have hybrids already for it.

I read somewhere that the oem turbos are much bigger than m157 and s63tu.

from what i have read, its the intercooler that is holding back people from doing bigger turbos as the stock intercooler becomes a restriction past factory turbos

until the aftermarket comes up with a less restrictive intercooler for the rs7 the turbo upgrades dont do much more than what we are seeing on factory turbos

I don't think this improves restriction but it would increase the cooling ability and thus not require as much fluid to cool the charge, so it should still help....

For S6 and S7 but might work for RS7...

That's what APR told me but why in the world hasn't anyone done an intercooler setup? WTF are we waiting for?

that part i dont know why... only thing i can think of is not enough people have expressed interest as its a no-brainer to take this platform to the next level and into the 9's

If I was on the verge of 9's I'd be exploring every option to get there.
