    • Audi R8 V10 Plus with APR Stage I E85 tune runs 10.6@131

APR released their Stage I tune for the Lamborghini Huracan and Audi R8 V10 Plus a couple months back. The tune has E85 support and picks up 47 horsepower at all four wheels on ethanol fuel.

Not bad for a naturally aspirated 5.2 liter V10 already making 600 horsepower from the factory.

The result on a the strip is a 10.632 @ 131.64 miles per hour:

A standard R8 that is detuned through software alone will see even larger gains from stock with tuning and in theory should match this result exactly.

Great to see independent real world numbers.

Yeah but give that V10 turbos and it's not like the RS3 can double in size.

Sure and the R8 looks better and probably goes around a track better...but I would bet $$$$ the RS3 will be in the 9s before the R8 and for a LOOOOOOOT less money. Adding turbos to midengined V10 is a huuuge pain in the dick compared to tuning the RS3's i5.
