    • Iroz Motorsport gets a 10.5@131 in the 1/4 mile out of the 8V Audi RS3 sedan tuned on E85

The new Audi RS3 sedan is already making mid 10's in the 1/4 mile look easy. This is a very impressive result when you factor in where it was run. The Fontana dragstrip in Southern California is notoriosuly slow and when you factor in the 2356 foot density altitude this result becomes all the more impressive.

      Here is the mod list:

      IMS 8v RS3 billet intercooler
      IMS 8s/8v Downpipe and midpipes
IMS/Custom Code stock turbo tuning suite
15 minute track side weight reduction
      E85
      18 inch DOT radials

Essentially your standard bolt ons there although there is also some weight reduction.

Hard to argue with the result:

Iroz believes there is more in it and we agree. In cooler weather at sea level this car should be capable of 10.3 or better. Incredible.

How does this setup differ from the 10.5 from APR....wasn't the APR tune only?

It's stated how it differs. This is an E85 tune with bolt ons.

We ran 10.5 on a tune and no engine hardware mods. This platform is shaping up to be quite impressive.

cant wait to see what these little rockets run when turbo kits start hitting the streets

also, seems like there is still room on stock turbos and with some TCU tuning probably will bring those 10.5's down a little with more line pressure
