" I don't know what you determine as proven, but there are videos of running versions of this kit in all 3 stages he's created. I've discussed in naussem as to why I've gotten this kit (most importantly roots > centrifugal), but at the end of the day, 90% of his kit is in fact proven being the Eaton M112 supercharger itself. He's taken a proven supercharger and intake plenum, made some adapter plates and then added a RRFRP to get fuel. I agree it's not perfect, but I'm fully capable of fixing whatever may come up after installation..by biggest concern is fuel delivery and tuning. At this point, I've paid $4200 for throttle provisions for bot a non-VANOS 98 740iL and VANOS X5 vehicle, a completely rebuilt and powercoated supercharger, is adapter plates and parts for intercooling...things I probably could have done myself, but he's done it for me, leaving me to tie up the loose ends. Even if I put $1000 into additional effort into it, it's still cheaper than a VF or Dinan kit, and no matter what the power deleivery of this supercharger is wildly different than a centrifugal - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXVyweyoPfE
My DD for the moment, a Harley F150 used that same M112 supercharger at I've upgraded to a twin screw Kenne Bell pushing well over 600hp. I'll never be able to get those numbers in my X5, maybe in my 740iL, but it's still a better supercharger than the Vortech...in my opinion.
