Still no power here. I went for a ride in my friends flatbed today to haul cars from Bay Pkwy and Manhattan Beach....

    Its $#@!ing unreal.

Every car....and I mean EVERY one of them 1000s and 1000s...all total losses...80% were up to their roofs in water. When I get power back up here I will post pics....I cant explain the damage but I was in a bad section and from what my friend says (PointnShoot on e90) I didnt even see the worst. He was in Seagate this morning and its a sad sight...complete blocks are just gone, nohing but water there...the ground/sand/breakwater/whatever houses are gone.

He was going into Rockaway this evening and that is one of the worst hit areas...wanted to stay on to pull more cars and see the area but my dealer is open and doing work (for the last two days too lol) so I have to go in. There are something like 800 Benzes and 700 something BMWs already towed.

South Jersey here, Atco to be precise. Thanking GOD our power hasn't gone out, no trees fell on the house and no flooding. My friends and family is back in NY and had to deal with that madness in Manhattan. Thank GOD I don't have to commute there.

My heart and prayers go out to the families that lost people during this storm. Possessions can be replaced, people cannot.

Yeah man...the breakwaters held but when the bay filled up, Rockaway/Breezy Point pretty much was all under water...there was no island.

Talked to my buddy there. He was actually in VA on business. He says he doesn't have any water in his house but he's hoping the large pine tree in his back yard fell on his deck so he can get a new one LOL. I'm not sure when he's heading back to NJ but it doesn't sound like he's in a hurry. haha

North East's ports are down and gas is pretty much gone.. there are 1 hour lines at any stations that do have gas and they run out quickly... there have been fights and accidents taking place too... its a $#@! show... i filled up on e85 yesterday and wont beat on my car until things are back to normal... but 19 out of 20 gas stations are sold out and they are price gouging when they do have it. 4.70/gal regular...

at work here they are putting people up in hotels so they dont have to travel home and save gas, others are working 12-24 hour shifts.. its still taking a huge toll on our lives.. I work at a sat comm company , guys here are all taking home HUGE checks from the OT thats needed now..

I guess im somewhat "used" to the mentality being from FL. You really dont understand until you live through it. The flooding always suprises everyone...

    Total disaster.

The National Guard and Police are dealing with looters. The Jersey Shore looks like a war zone. People fighting for gas on gas lines that are miles long.

Thats nothing. Most people in Queens and LI wait for 2hrs or more. Luckily I filled up both my cars before all this got chaotic. I should be good for more then a week.
