    • BMS to offer JB4 piggyback tune for B9 Audi RS4/RS5 2.9 EA839 twin turbo V6 models - 2018 RS5 Before/after dyno results

This quietly slipped under the radar likely because BMS (Burger Tuning) is still working on the product. As you likely know, the B9 Audi models including the S4, S5, RS4, and RS5 can not be flash tuned at this time as the Bosch MG1 ECU is not cracked and keeping tuners out.

In comes BMS to save to the day with their JB4 and the early results are promising:

398 wheel horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque at the wheels stock. With some mild tuning that increases to 433 wheel horsepower and 485 lb-ft of wheel torque respectively.

Yes, absolutely mild numbers for now and the 2.9 V6 does not appear to be a powerhouse in stock form but we should see these numbers improve.

Why is the dyno cutting off so early? Stock car is supposed to make peak power up to 6,700rpm.

You would need to ask the operator but most of these turbo motors don’t benefit from being revved out to redline.

Well at least it's a gain. APR could be next week, next year, or next decade.

        The JB4 evolves too...

Yea, this is like map 1 LOL. I'm pretty sure we can get some more out of it, it's only the beginning.

This was early testing on 93. We have since added our boost control module BCM that sort WGDC limitations.
