    • First 8-second 8V Audi RS3 - Iroz Motorsport IMS1000 RS3 runs 8.850@158.65 1/4 mile

Congratulations to Iroz Motorsport on the first 8-second Audi 8V RS3 sedan. This is also the first 8-second 2.5 TFSI EVO DAZA aluminum block inline-5 AudiBoost knows of. The 2.5 TFSI motor of course is built with forged internals.

In addition the built motor the car has upgraded clutches. It is running a Syvecs standalone and tuned on E85 fuel.

The 1.3X 60 foot shows it is hooking up very, very well:

Iroz believes there is plenty more left in it and AudiBoost does not doubt them.

We may see 160's out of the car in not too long which is simply mind boggling.

Congratulations to Iroz Motorsport and @HankIroz

        So... McLaren 720S or RS3?

The fact those two are basically equal right now in the aftermarket is insane.

I mean, unlimited money, clearly the 720S. But damn, the RS3 makes it look easy.

My exact thoughts. Wouldn't a TTRS be even faster than this too because its a bit lighter? The listed spec says it shaves 300 lbs stock. It's not really a canyon carver, but for a "budget supercar" can you get any better?

        If anyone was so interested....

Syvecs S7 for 8V RS3 (hopefully applicable to the EVO DAZA) = 4,320 GBP ($5,616 USD at today's rates says google)

Would be nice to hear from Hank about what advantages he is extracting from the Syvecs besides the safety monitoring capabilities. Maybe traction control? or Launch control?
