    • B9 Audi RS5 EA839 2.9 V6 BMS JB4 tune results with E30 on dyno and 1/4 mile dragstrip - 11.4@118.9

It is somewhat odd the Audi 2.5 TFSI is so strong yet the B9 generation turbocharged V6 cars are somewhat weak compared to their class. The BMW S55 and the AMG M177 are putting up much stronger stock and tuned results. The numbers you see here would have this RS5 struggling against a stock F80 M3 Competition.

The next gen G80 M3 is going to wipe the floor with the RS5. We can delve into that topic later but this owner tuned his B9 RS5 with a BMS JB4 and BCM (boost control module).

The car put down 474 to all four wheels with 555 lb-ft of torque at all four wheels on a Mustang dyno:

That is of course assuming Speed Element doesn't mess with their dyno.

The 1/4 mile result seems to be about right for the power and weight here:

That is just touching 119 miles per hour in the 1/4 mile. Has AudiBoost posted any faster times for a tuned B9 RS5? Yes.

Certainly good numbers but wow does the EA839 trail the 2.5 TFSI in the tuning world.

No, just lagging behind the competition.

We have a couple of 11.2's and are first to see 10's on Dragy with stock turbos. Car is going to run on a better surface this week and we should see a improvement and make a formal post.
It definately not a RS3 but more of a cruiser.
