    • Quick drag race between the 8V Audi RS3 Sedan and the Mercedes-AMG A45

This is not a proper 1/4 mile drag race on a sanctioned strip but it does give you an idea as to how big the difference is between the new Audi RS3 sedan and the Mercedes-AMG A45 hatchback.

The Mercedes-AMG of course has the top production four-cylinder in the world in the M133 2.0 liter unit. The problem? The Audi 2.5 TFSI I5 is simply a bigger, more powerful, and better powerplant.

These cars are similar in the respect of both offering all wheel drive, dual clutch transmissions, and roughly the same curb weight.

For the RS3 to pull like this in only 984 feet is impressive. In other words, just over 300 feet more than the 1/8 mile at 660 feet.
