    • B-Rogue Built developing BR-1 single turbo Lamborghini Gallardo and 1st gen Audi R8 V10 turbocharger kit

This is a very interesting development in the Lamborghini Gallardo and Audi R8 V10 tuning world. You of course will notice that while there are many turbo kits out there for the V10 platform everyone goes the twin turbo route.

Well, everyone other than B-Rogue Built. They are doing what they call a BR-1 single turbo kit.

There are pluses and minuses of course and it will be interesting to see how this setup separate itself.

It certainly is a different approach and we definitely look forward to pricing information and results.

Pretty much that this is different.

Yah, the twin kits look much more simply and efficiently plumbed than this. It'd be a pass for me, but I'm curious how the single would sound.

10 cylinders for one turbo HAS to provide a spool benefit and the piping from the turbo to cooler to motor looks pretty short. Looking forward to seeing and hearing it. I bet all 2j guys love this! Click here to enlarge

Look at the plumbing. Unlike you i think it’s gonna have a spool disadvantage compared to twin setup with comparable flowing turbos. The only advantage would be cost, but honestly who cares with a Gallardo? lol

Pricing for our single kits starts at $22,500 for a base kit on a Bosch based computer car via GEN 1 R8 and LP Gallardo and that's installed and tuned. We have a couple options for these kits like upgraded clamps and adding some more Titanium that make the price go up a little from there as well. PreLP 04-08 Gallardo stock computer tuning software is still in development so for now we offer an AEM Infinity stand alone setup for additional cost. As for Dyno sheets we haven't posted any final numbers yet as we haven't had the time to fully tune any of the prototype cars per their ownes excitement to get there cars back. At about 2.5psi lower than the twin kits on the market currently we are only a couple HP away. Which come spring we have have some suprising results we are looking very forward to showing

Cars aren't fully tuned, but there only a few HP at lower boost? I'm scratching my head at what they're claiming here.

Why do I keep hearing about people running their cars untuned..aren’t they concerned that it won’t run right and could possibly be doing harm?
I guess if the turbo is more efficient then it could produce more horsepower with less boost

I think what they are saying is they didn't tune it but the customer took deliver to have their tuner tackle it.
