    • USP Motorsports Audi 8V RS3 2.5 TFSI tops 500 whp on a Dynojet with APR tune software only

Good to see some all wheel drive Dynojet numbers for the new 2.5 TFSI. USP Motorsports got their 8V Audi RS3 on the dyno getting a baseline result, APR Stage 1 pump gas tune, and some APR Stage 2 E85 ethanol numbers.

The baseline is stout at 363 front wheel horsepower. They did not dyno it in all wheel drive mode so keep that in mind.

Power jumps up considerably on 93 octane with APR's software to 431 but the torque numbers shows the real action. A increase of 98 lb-ft at at the wheels for 432 lb-ft total.

Stage 2 with E85 pushes power over 500 to the wheels for 503. Torque hits 468 lb-ft at the wheels.

      Absolutely incredible software only gains.

Impressive but not something other performance cars can't do....

I am pretty sure the BMW M3 S55 3.0TT does more than 500whp on 100% e85 tune only

Seeing as both cars are about the same weight it would be a great roll race to see.

And the RS3/TT-RS are already kicking its ass while on the stock internals while the S55 needed to be built to hit 9's.

A bit less RS3 content please. It's cheap, powerful and reliable, so you love it we get it LOL.

RS3 and TTRS are kicking the M3s ass only in one dimension, a straight line, please show me where the RS3 out does the M3 in the curves/track?

Heh yeah obviously the straight line.

Around the track I'd probably put my money on the new M2.

Just curious, what's the 1/4 mile record for a stock turbo M3/M4? A quick Google search revealed a 10.7@132 but that was back in December. Has anyone gone quicker?

They broke into high 9s already, with built motor.

I am pretty sure the TPGs car that ran 9.98 was fully built and had big turbos on it not stock turbos.

But I think Stockguru was asking about stock turbo results...Sure the Rs3 is super quick but that's because of the AWD.

The post was about the engine dynoing 500whp, and the M3 has done that stock turbos as well on e85, actually more than 500whp.

If the M3 was made with AWD it would decimate ALL...

Just need to correct the author of this thread on a few things:

Power jumps up considerably on 93 octane with APR's software to 341 but the torque numbers shows the real action. A increase of 98 lb-ft at at the wheels for 432 lb-ft total.

        I think you mean 431 not 341?

        Absolutely incredible software only gains.
If you watch the video, you'll see that's not 500 wheel with software only. The car received a Milltek downpipe and midpipes, Forge FMIC and K&N filter in addition to the developmental APR Stage 2 software (which isn't available yet).

You could say the same thing about the RS3... If only it had more displacement like the M3, it would decimate all...

AWD adds a lot of weight too so while the M3 would undoubtedly see gains in the traction/60' department, it would probably trap less due to the worse power to weight ratio.

        It is what it is.

I chose the TTRS because it's about 250-300lbs lighter than the RS3. I want to go 9's with the stock turbos.

It was presented to me as software only, my bad. There is another article where the car does top 500 awhp software only.

The USP graph should include that there are bolt ons.

I meant in the post above that I want to go 9's with the stock turbo, singular. I'm so used to twin turbo cars lol.

Do you have the link to the 500whp article for software only?

I'm trying to figure out if an aftermarket downpipe does much on this car with the stock turbo...
