    • Custom Code/Iroz Motorsport release 8V RS3 Sedan and 8S TT-RS 2.5 TFSI dual clutch TCU tuning software

TCU (transmission control unit) tuning is increasingly important with modern cars in order to get the transmission to play nicely with upgrades. The Audi RS3 sedan and TT-RS obviously share a dual clutch transmission and with the 2.5 TFSI motor putting out a ton of torque in the aftermarket TCU tunes will be necessary.

Especially when the time comes for upgraded clutch discs.

As for right now, Custom Code and Iroz Motorsport are claiming improved shift times, raised rpm shift points, improved launch control, and higher line pressure for greater torque capacity.

Hopefully we get some third party feedback verifying the claims.

According to a video that george@malaka made he is seeing some slippage however to be fair he's probably approaching 700whp which is about 2X what the stock car care with...

Adding this TCU software to a stock turbo car is a must

Adding this TCU software AND upgraded clutches to an upgraded turbo car is a must, eventually.

Ok I was able to get a baseline on the car with a Dragy then installed a bigger FMIC from Iroz and a stage 1 Custom Code flash meant for e70 fuel. Car is completely stock otherwise and the runs were done with a full tank of gas (225 lb driver). Some notes, the redline went from 6800(stock) to what looks to be about 7400 with the flash. The 1-2 shifts are noticeablely smoother with the e70 flash, sometimes the stock Flash would tap the limiter going 1-2. with the increased redline on the e70 map I noticed it gets into second much more seamlessly even if itís spinning. I didnít mess with the tcu flash yet cus I wanted to do 1 thing at a time. Lots of parts sitting Here waiting to be installed, last piece of the puzzle should be ready soon from Pure turbos Click here to enlarge.

so to conclude almost 1/2 second faster to 60 and gain of 10-11mph in the 1/4 from just a flash and fmic on an otherwise stock rs3. Once I load the tcu flash I’ll report back.

OK, so the 10-11mph improvement includes going from 91/93 octane to E70?

Correct, I also did testing with their stg1 pump gas file same boost just 1/2 the timing and it still picked up 4mph over stock in the 1/8th mile.
