    • A reminder the Audi S7 4.0 TFSI is still a great tuning value - Stertman Stage 1 tuned C7 S7 hits 542 awhp

The C7 Audi S7 and the S6 for that matter remain somewhat underappreciated tuning platforms. They are cheaper than their RS counterparts and in the case of the RS6 you can not even purchase that model in the USA.

Plus if you want your twin turbo Audi 4.0 liter V8 paired to a dual clutch transmission the S6 and S7 are your only options.

A used S6 or S7 is a bargain and if you have not been paying attention the next generation C8 cars will all follow the same basic recipe with another 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 but likely paired to an automatic.

The S6 and S7 therefore offer something unique and just look at what a tune does:

542 awhp and 625 awtq. That puts it a bit ahead of a Stock RS7 but this Mustang seems to be reading a bit high.

Proof is in the GPS testing which knocks off 2 full seconds from 100-200 kph putting it right with a stock RS7:

      An excellent tuning value indeed.

I have an S6 with the same engine and trans. They're big heavy pigs which will break rear half shafts and differentials if you get them to hook. I'll sell you mine cheap.

Well the entire C7 platform is heavy.

Regardless, you can still tune them and get good power out of them. Also, the S6/S7 are paired to a dual clutch which is nice.

If you want to drag race them, upgrade the driveline.

Upgrades don't exist and shops like The Driveshaft Shop claim it's not possible.
