APR backs up their 9-second RS3 pass on the west coast - Eurocode RS3 runs 9.8@142.9

Not only was APR the first to get the Audi RS3 sedan into the 9's they now have backed up their run on the West Coast. APR and Eurocode took an RS3 sedan to the Sacramento dragstrip and pulled off an impressive 9.851 @ 142.94.

What is the recipe? Much like the previous run APR's tuning is working magic on the stock 2.5 TFSI internals:

    - EuroCode/sillyrabbitmotorsport Hybrid OEM RS3 turbo using Garrett Gen 2 GTX35 series cartridge. $5800
    - EuroCode oil and coolant line kit. $270
    - EuroCode RennLuft intake with CNC'd billet inlet. $699
    - EuroCode Front mount intercooler IC CNC'd billet end tanks $1299
    - EuroCode DB (Double barrel) downpipe $699
    - EuroCode in tank brushless low pressure fuel pump $1230
    - Low pressure port fuel injector upgrade kit $1114

    Stock motor. Stock transmission.

The 2.5 TFSI platform is simply the best bang for the buck German tuning platform on the market today.

I'm wondering what iroz has up their sleeve. They have a few cars running about that can best this time now. Maybe they want to go straight to the 8s...

Iroz is using a bigger turbo so they should have the HW to beat the APR cars but what about the SW?

Iroz is using custom code SW...perhaps APR is probably farther ahead in the SW tuning department than customcode...

Didn't someone mock me when I said this was Audi's 911 Turbo for less than half the price?

yes, we both were saying it was 911 turbo performance territory and we were being mocked that it wouldn't happen on stock block...that the block would bust...well here is 9.8 on stock block and stock frame turbo.
